Contact Me

Hi, I would like to welcome you to 3 Pines Kennels.  My name is Sharon and I am a small breeder nestled in the midst of the Orange Groves of Central California.  I am a single mom of a special needs little girl and love and raise pups as a hobby.

I purchased a Yorkipoo for myself as a personal pet after my oldest son was tragically killed in an auto accident.  I had worked for the local Animal Control and ran an all breed rescue for many years and I have seen first hand the deplorable conditions in which some people raise their dogs.  After the death of my son I knew I could not do rescue any more, I just could not deal with the sadness of death and sickness that goes along with it.  Since I love dogs and I knew there was a need for legit breeders that people could trust I decided to start breeding the Yorkipoos.

I fell in love with the mixed breed after getting my Pippi.  I found there were a lot of my friends and others who seemed to want one, so I decided that this would be a fun, positive thing I could do as a small home business.

Although some of my dogs are kenneled, mostly for their safety, all of my adults are allowed to run in large yards at times for exercise.  I live in the country and have several fenced areas for them to run and play but because I live in the country I also have to be aware of coyotes and hawks that are always around looking for a free meal, so if I am not out with them they are kept in their kennels where they are safe.  All the adults have an annual check up with the vet and get shots and wormed.

I have a nursery room that moms are brought into before they have their pups where they are bathed, groomed and get all set up for the big day.  Most will stay there until their pups are sold.  It is heated and cooled so both moms and pups are comfortable, it is connected the main house so I can always hear what is going on even at night.

Contact Information:

I try to answer every email and "contact me" form within 24 hours of receiving them.  If you do not hear from me please check your spam mail as I have found that many of my emails get blocked by fire walls.  Please call me if you do not hear from me or find the email reply in your spam folder as I do want to help you find the right pup for your family. 559-562-1204 or 559-967-0615

Puppy Agreement:

All of my pups come with at least their first shot and worming. They have a one year health guarantee.  I handle and socialize each pup and they are temperament tested for best placement.   Please feel free to read my Puppy Sale Agreement at the bottom of this page.

Shipping:

Shipping is available within the USA.  I ship with Delta, Alaska and sometimes American.  In the summer and winter I can only use Alaska and if your airport does not service this airline then I use a private handler.  She cost a bit more but is worth the extra.  She travels with puppies in cabin with her and monitors them all the way, plus she calls and lets myself the the new buyer the status of the flight and how pup is doing.  She is just great.

Payment, Deposits and Pricing:

$$$ If you do not see the prices please email me.

$$$ I accept payment in the form of a cash, personal check, money order, cashier check and prefer Paypal.  Click the large work Paypal to pay either a deposit or full payment with Paypal

Deposit Policy:

If you are thinking of putting a deposit on a puppy please read this first:  If you put a deposit on a puppy before it is born and you change your mind before it is born you get 100% of you deposit back.  If you should change your mind after the pup is born and before it is 6 weeks of age you get 50% of your deposit back.  If you change your mind after the pup is 6 weeks of age you get no refund.  If at any time something should go wrong with the pup rendering it unadoptable or if the sex of the pup you put a deposit on was not born then your deposit is moved to another pup or litter or you get 100% back.  I realize that most breeders do not refund but I feel there are too many surprises in life to not give a refund up till the pup is almost ready to go home.  If you have any further questions about the deposit please email me.

SCAMS:

I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY SOME ONE THAT HAS BEEN SCAMMED.  AS A BREEDER AND A CARING PERSON, THIS SO BOTHERS ME. IF YOU BUY FROM ME OR NOT, PLEASE LISTEN TO WHAT I AM SAYING.

IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT MOST LIKELY IS.  THE DISHONEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD THRIVE ON THE DESPERATE.  I REALIZE THAT THE PRICES OF PUPPIES HAVE GONE WAY UP IN THE PAST FEW YEARS MAKING IT DIFFICULT FOR SOME TO PURCHASE A PUP. THE SCAMMERS ARE LOOKING FOR THESE PEOPLE. FOLLOW THESE FEW PRECAUTIONS AND MOST LIKELY YOU WILL SAVE YOURSELF LOTS OF HEARTACHE.

1) ALWAYS ASK FOR MORE PICTURES OF THE PUP AND COMPARE PICTURES TO MAKE SURE IT IS THE SAME PUP IN EACH PICTURE.

2) EVEN IF THE PUP IS IN L.A. AND YOU ARE IN NEW YORK, ASK IF YOU CAN COME TO THE KENNELS.  A LEGITE BREEDER WILL WELCOME YOU, IT DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE TO GO BUT FIND OUT IF THEY WILL LET YOU.

3) NEVER SEND MONEY WITH A MONEY ORDER, WESTERN UNION OR OTHER MONEY SERVICES THAT ARE NOT SECURE.  PAYPAL IS ONE OF THE MOST INSURED/SECURED WAYS.

4) ASK FOR REFERENCES OF PAST BUYERS AND CONTACT THEM.

5) IF THE PUP IS REGISTERED THEN ASK FOR THE PARENTS REGISTRATION NUMBERS AND CONTACT THE REGISTRY TO SEE IF THOSE DOGS ARE BELONGING TO THE PERSON SELLING THE DOGS.  I DID THIS ONCE AND THE NUMBER BELONGED TO A DIFFERENT BREED DOG IN A DIFFERENT STATE OWNED BY A DIFFERINT PERSON.

DO THESE FEW THINGS AND I HOPE YOU NEVER GET SCAMMED.

Introducing PIPPI the Yo-Yopoo

Pippi my little darling.  Pippi is the most loving fun dog I have ever owned.  She is the one who inspired me to breed the Yorkie and Poodle mixes. As sweet and beautiful as she is, she is not from any of my dogs and I had her spayed.  Although none of my dogs have produced a pup that looks  just like Pippi they are equally as cute and smart and make wonderful family members.  I do breed the Yo-Yopoo but most are black and gold or black and red more of the Yorkie coloring as pups but do turn more silver as they get older.

Pippi suggest that everyone buy their pups a Cuz ball as she thinks they are the greatest and you can not have too many.  She thinks she needs a new one every month and one for every room of the house.  You can find a Cuz ball at most pets stores or click here to order on line Cuz Ball .

Click here to see Pippi's personal Dogster.com page

Pippi is a Yo-Yopoo 3/4 Yorkie and 1/4 Poodle.

PUPPY SALE AGREEMENT

Congratulations on the purchase of your new puppy! A puppy is an adventure and a job all wrapped up in one bouncing, licking, loving package. We highly recommend that you read as much as you can about raising puppies, and specifically about the breed you have chosen. Informed owners always make better owners!

Your new puppy has been raised with great care and love. We do our best to raise healthy, socialized puppies. We guarantee the health of your puppy against any GENETIC DEFECT for 1 year from the purchase date of the puppy. This includes only genetically caused problems. If a genetic defect is found, the puppy may be returned with a written statement from the veterinarian and the purchase price of the puppy will be refunded, or you may choose a different puppy to replace the one you are returning. We cannot be held responsible for any vet expenses that may occur from any genetic complication if you choose to keep the puppy and seek veterinary treatments. We have never had anyone return a puppy for any genetic complication.
We cannot guarantee against, or be responsible for any expenses incurred from, Parasites in your puppy. Parasites are very common in puppies and may include various types of worms, Coccidia, or Giardia. Although we do our very best to prevent these Parasites, the puppy may require additional treatments to deal with these, because of the different life cycles of these parasites. We recommend that you take a stool sample to your vet and have it screened to determine whether additional treatment is necessary. Your puppy has received his/her 1st set of shots and has been wormed for Roundworm, Tapeworm, Whipworm and Hookworm once.
If you have your puppy shipped and something goes wrong we refund 50% of the price of the puppy not the cost of the shipping. (Note we have never had anything go wrong with our puppies when shipped)
We highly recommend that you take your new puppy to the vet within 72 hours (3 days) of purchase. The vet should perform a full well-puppy exam to verify the health of the puppy and screen the stool sample. A shot/worming record will be given to you when you take your puppy home. Be sure to keep it updated with any new information that should be added.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you keep your puppy away from any public location (parks, mall, Pet Smart, public walkways, front yard, etc…) until he/she has received ALL of the recommended immunizations. A puppy is not fully protected against Parvo and/or other diseases until he has received ALL of his/her shots. Your vet will be able to inform you when this process is completed. This is for the protection of your new puppy.
Going to a new home is very stressful on a puppy. You will want to watch his/her stool carefully the first few days. A normal stool looks like a little log, but puppies can have somewhat loose stools that look very soft. If you see blood in the stool or yellow gel colored stool, I would advise taking a sample to your vet. Your puppy should eat, drink, and go potty several times each day, with lots of playing and sleep in between. This is normal behavior for your puppy. Any lethargic behavior, loss of appetite, or failure to eliminate should be warning signs and you should take your puppy to the vet immediately. This is just to help you be informed if you see something that doesn’t seem quite right.
You have been given a sample of the food that the puppy has been eating. Continue to feed this food until it is gone. If you choose to switch food brands, please do it gradually, following this transitional guideline:
Days 1 & 2 -- 70% old food, 30% new food. Days 3 & 4 -- 50% old, 50% new, Days 5 & 6 -- 30% old, 70% new. By Day 7, you can have him on a completely new food. This should help his digestive system not be overwhelmed with a new food. A sudden change in food can cause diarrhea in a puppy.
Please feel free to ask any questions you might have about your new puppy. We are here to help you through his growing stages. Our website is www.3pineskennels.com. You can reach us by email at info@3pineskennels.com. A phone call is always welcome (559) 562-1204 or 559-967-0615.
